The site feed will be accessible form 2 places the top bar as an icon next to the home breadcrumbs and in the site navigation as part of the elements with the name feed and icon.
Once in the site feed user will be able to see the latest activity for all sit e documents (new documents created, documents updated, citation and commenting)

Threading
Threading could be visualized best with a 2 level format to give context of the conversation that is happening.
When a user writes a new discussion it is shown in the feed.
If someone where to reply to this initial discussion, a second card would a appear on the feed with the threaded conversation. giving context to this new message that has been crated (Isabella's message). This is made taking into account that this feed will hold the conversations and activities for several documents within a site.
If the user where to make a new reply to that reply (Gabo makes a reply to Isabella's reply) then a new card will appear showing the the new comment with its parent.
And if someone wants to open the thread by clicking on it they will be able to see the threaded discussion similar to how X does it. It will open the thread depending on where you want to reply.
