Should we redirect URLs with l when v doesn't match the latest version?
I had this idea today, which seems reasonable.
When we open a URL with v and l, and v doesn't match the latest version that will be returned, wouldn't it be good to redirect (or somehow change the value of v in place)?
yes it seems reasonable, but maybe its not an http redirect but a client-side URL rewrite
which might have better performance
