We believe the best tools stay out of your way. Creating a new document should feel like adding a thought, not launching a process.

This project is very simple: We want to update the design for our embed cards to this: New Cards design As you can see, this one are simpler. Nothing too complex. but this will make sure we have more Visual consistency across Hypermedia Elements in the app.

Users can't place content side by side in the editor. We're adding a /Columns command that creates horizontal layouts by extending the existing block system — no new block types, no backend changes.

Notes

Users are not finding what blocks they are capable of using on their Hypermedia documents. we need to make it obvious and easy to show what you are capable of doing on a Hypermedia documents. The idea is to have a special button at the bottom of the editor that users can press and see all the available block options they have to add content to their documents default state opened state We used to have a + button on the left side of the sidemenu too, but we removed it because it was forcing us to increase the padding around the content, making the content thiner and less readable/easy to use. We believe this button at the bottom would make it easier for users to discover all the block types they are capable of using. I need help from the team to think of any rabbit holes or edge cases for this, because I don't think there's any to it. Its pretty straightforward.
