According to Leslie Lamport's Invariants:

In Leslie Lamport's view, an invariant is a property of a system that must remain true in every reachable state of its execution.

Inheriting permissions automatically, between parent and child might be an impossible invariant in our system. For the sake of being experts in distributed systems, it would be nice to find the way on how to do inheritance..?

However, what if we just change our product behaviour? Is this really what we always want by default? sharing all the permissions in my document?

Maybe we can a confirmation step as in google docs, that will generate the permissions to this document, instead:

This way the system won't be broken when certain facts or events have happened in the system but my computer hasn't synced them yet.

Every effective permission must be justified by a valid chain of authority, including inheritance and authorized delegation or overrides.
